TikTok Ban in India May Not Have the Desired Results, Claim Experts

With crores of humans in India already using TikTok and all of them having the option to share the app with others, blocking its access on Google Play Store and Apple App Store might not have the desired effects, say experts.

TikTok, which is very famous among children, is dealing with a complaint from exceptional quarters for the movement of “pornographic content.”

Google and Apple blocked the download of the Chinese brief video-sharing app, following a request from the authorities.

But there are a few market and technical realities that prevent you from making the ban very powerful on the floor. The possible problems and worries will continue to trouble people, particularly more and more traumatized parents, according to the market research company TechArt.

On Tuesday, the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court refused to raise the ban on TikTok and set April 24 as the subsequent listening date.
